Being an IB PYP candidacy school, we have developed our curriculum collaboratively, mindful of the requirements of the children in this community, the National Curriculum Framework of India and the IB PYP Curriculum Model. The curriculum has been designed using the “Understanding by Design” tm framework and is centered around six transdisciplinary themes. It is an ongoing process to create a stimulating and purposeful curriculum that delivers topics and concepts of different subject areas in a wonderful manner that supports the process of inquiry in addition to the formation of links in the child’s understanding. With enthusiasm, we constantly aim to upgrade ourselves in order to enable our children to deal with real life, making change our guiding force in curriculum planning.
The “Programme of Inquiry” is the overall curriculum plan from Pre-K to Grade 5. Furthermore, individual such planners have been created for each grade level.
