Effective leadership begins with the fundamental ability to believe in oneself. It is a clarity of vision that gives great leaders the confidence to adopt the role of instilling motivation , self esteem and team work.

To understand the behavior and traits of a leader, one needs to look at their innate characteristics. Most significant are energy levels, physical stamina, stress tolerance, motivational skills

Meridian believes in creating leaders of tomorrow, leaders in various fields – Academic, Arts, Sports, Environment and many more. We give them the confidence to pursue their passions and train them in accordance. Leadership is just not developing the requisite skills to build a career out of your passion; it is also an attitude which we imbibe in our students that reflects in various spheres.

At Meridian, an electoral policy has been devised on the basis of which School Houses and House leaders are elected. Such democratic and transparent practices give them an early insight of the actual governance and administration. Early in life these elected leaders learn to strategize amongst themselves and cater to the larger student community. Leadership opportunities are showcased through the conduct of Sports, Activity Clubs, Cultural extravaganzas, etc.

Meridian is an active participant in numerous events, global, national, state or local, of both academic and non-academic in nature. MUN – Model United Nations, is one of the recognized and esteemed platforms in which Meridian participates year after year. Our schools have also hosted a few MUNs. All these events have student committees and the onus of conducting them is completely on the students, this helps them to grow out of the shelter of their teachers and be independent in their own terms. Other such activities include organizing relief camps during natural calamities, community service and volunteering for various causes.

Meridian believes in churning out highly effective leaders who would rise up to the shifting paradigmsaround the Globe. A Meridian student is an active participant in numerous events, global, national, state or local, of both academic and non-academic in nature. MERK Model Parliament is one of the unique platforms which we host to enable the students to understand to be a morally responsible citizen imbibing the values of self-discipline, team work, tolerance, empathy, thereby transforming our students into natural leaders. Global collaboration and practices is a regular feature through various international interaction programs which are spearheaded by our students.
