Meridian believes in creating leaders of tomorrow, leaders in various fields – Academic, Arts, Sports, Environment and many more. We give them the confidence to pursue their passions and train them in accordance. Leadership is just not developing the requisite skills to build a career out of your passion; it is also an attitude which we imbibe in our students that reflects in various spheres.
At Meridian, an electoral policy has been devised on the basis of which School Houses and House leaders are elected. Such democratic and transparent practices give them an early insight of the actual governance and administration. Early in life these elected leaders learn to strategize amongst themselves and cater to the larger student community. Leadership opportunities are showcased through the conduct of Sports, Activity Clubs, Cultural extravaganzas, etc.
Meridian is an active participant in numerous events, global, national, state or local, of both academic and non-academic in nature. MUN – Model United Nations, is one of the recognized and esteemed platforms in which Meridian participates year after year. Our schools have also hosted a few MUNs. All these events have student committees and the onus of conducting them is completely on the students, this helps them to grow out of the shelter of their teachers and be independent in their own terms. Other such activities include organizing relief camps during natural calamities, community service and volunteering for various causes.
